Questions about custom printing
Here’s what to include in your request and what to expect from the quote process.
Talk through your project ↗What if I don’t have a 3D file?
Send a sketch or reference image, or choose MakerWorld, Printables or Thingiverse in the quote form and include the model number or link. We’ll review the model and its permissions before quoting.
What makes a useful brief?
Tell us the size, quantity and purpose of the piece. Include any surfaces it must fit against, your colour preference and the date you need it. Photographs with a ruler alongside are useful for scale.
How do you work out the price?
We review the design work, material, print time and quantity. Our standard service supplies raw prints. Any small, simple hand-painting job must be agreed separately. You receive a quote to consider before any work is agreed. Sending an enquiry does not place an order.
Can you help choose a material?
Yes. Tell us whether the item will be indoors or outdoors, exposed to heat, or expected to flex or carry a load. We’ll discuss suitability and limitations as part of the quote.
